“Kissed By A Dove” is a self produced adult contemporary CD by vocalist, songwriter and producer Amanda Elliott. It features original songs with a "new jazz swing." This spell-binding and innovative debut is a collaborative effort from Nymani Music highlighting the creative song stylings and genius of Amanda and co-producer, songwriter and pianist, Terence Elliott. Adding spice to the CD are the hip-hop and R&B contributions of three exceptionally talented and noted Bay Area producers, Brotha Dre (Andre Rivers), Larry Batiste and Ken Barr, all accomplished songwriters and producers in their own right.

Amanda's smooth and sensual style along with her sheer vocal ability will help establish “Kissed By A Dove” as a new standard. Her lyrics are inspiring, uplifting and poignant. Amanda says her intention for “Kissed By A Dove” was, “to produce a CD that would not only be pleasing to the ear but would also warm the heart and challenge the mind. Contra Costa College’s Black Song and Poetry, (BSAP) is a performing ensemble under the direction of African American Professor Terence Elliott. BSAP is made up of students who compose and perform their own songs of praise and protest. Their goal is to uplift people through music and the spoken word and to give voice to the needs of their communities. This talented group of musicians, singers, and poets create original songs, drawing on a wide range of African American influences, from gospel to hip-hop. Their gritty and honest CD “Cultural Consciousness”, is inspirational and uplifting, brimming over with raw talent and energy.
